An owner can cancel your booking for the following reasons:
- The weather for the day of your booking is too dangerous for you and your crew.
- The boat has been broken or damaged on a previous use and cannot be repaired before your booking.
- The boat has a mechanical or electronical issue and cannot be repaired before your booking.
- The tenant couldn't show the required documents to rent a boat during the check-in such as your nautical license (if a license is needed) or a document of identity.
- The tenant doesn't have the skills required to navigate the boat safely.
- The tenant couldn't pay the security deposit on SamBoat (if the deposit is managed by SamBoat) or during the check-in to the owner.
Every cancellation is reviewed by our cancellation team. If an owner cancels for a reason that is not justified or not accepted by our Terms and Conditions, measures can be taken against them by our cancellation team.
